Given, that is obvious to anybody that has read her column, which thankful I don't do since we have the wonderful Your Abbreviated Pundit Round-up here each day. But somehow I caught her column today. To quote just a part of it:
No Drama Obama is reticent about displays of emotion. The Spock in him needs to exert mental and emotional control. That is why he stubbornly insists on staying aloof and setting his own deliberate pace for responding -- whether it’s in a debate or after a debacle.
So in Maureen "bizzaro" world exerting "mental and emotional control" are not a virtue. In her very next sentence she seems to lose touch with the reality I reside in:
But it’s not O.K. to be cool about national security when Americans are scared.
In fact Maureen, that is exactly what I and I bet the majority of Americans want. I want, no DEMAND my President, our President be "cool about national security." Or put another way, "cool, calm, and collected."
Lets talk a little about Maureen and this meme we've got that Obama is like "Spock," emotionless, cause it is really pissing me off.
